Pros and cons of Jungle Time app for iPhone and iPad

Jungle Time app good for

Love this app (and my kids do too). I also love the fact that you can change the language as we live in France and the children are bilingual. I have purchased all Andrew Shorts apps and hope there will be more. How about one to learn times tables, long division ...?
This is a great app for teaching time. Simple interface but engaging with various degrees of difficulty and a variety of exercises. One of the better education games out there...
What We Liked: There is absolutely no doubt about it – Jungle Time is absolutely THE most full-featured time telling app I’ve ever laid my hands on. It is also the telling time app that my children enjoy the most. If you’re teaching a foreign language you can also use this app to teach time in that language – 11 of the most popular choices are included. My daughter takes the iPad off on her own and comes back with it to show me her progress, “Mom, look at how much I learned!” She’s 8, but has never managed to really truly cement her time telling skills although we’ve gone over the concepts many, many times. Jungle Time makes daily practice a lot more fun for BOTH of us, it sure beats black and white worksheets! Somehow that roaring, smiling, or trumpeting animal when a telling time question is answered correctly really makes this app fun for children. The jungle sound effects, the funny animal sounds and facial expression – they all make the (seemingly) endless practice that goes into learning to tell time on a traditional clock face that much easier. As a parent I absolutely love the powerful customization features of this app that take your child through all angles of telling time on several different clock faces. What We Didn’t Like: It would be nice if there were a function for multiple users so that each child’s progress could be monitored individually. Also, because the minute hand is geared to the hour hand, but not vice versa, sometimes when a child sets the hour hand first, and then sets the minute hand, the hour hand moves out of its initial position and needs to be reset. I always teach my children to set the hours first, and then the minutes, so I have them re-check their hour to see if it’s still right. Overall: If you only plan on buying one app for telling time, Jungle Time is my top recommendation. It is packed full of powerful customization and leveling features, multiple angles to approach time literacy with, and my children also have the most fun with this app of all the time apps we own. Disclosure: I received a promo code of this app to review.
Awesome math app for primary and junior grades. Terrific for math centers. Not too many good math apps out there - but this one is wonderful. Very user friendly, a variety of skill sets are challenged and it makes learning fun. A must for your iPod/iPad! Try jungle money and jungle fractions too. All equally excellent. Cant wait to see what other math apps come from the jungle!
Awesome. Allows child to move hands and/or "read" clock. Allows advanced time "math" to be advanced to. Great parent controls for difficulty. We tried several time apps and this was by far the best. Well worth the price. Thank you.
My nephew loved the iPhone version...the iPad version adds some new time telling tests and, of course, the pictures, sounds, etc. are beautiful! Nice job!
